There is no fee to participate in the Committee Meetings (Audit, Executive, Nexus, Strategic Planning and Uniformity) and there will be an option for virtual participation.  A downloadable agenda will be posted on the schedule below, under the Online Materials column, in the upcoming weeks.  Dial-in instructions for virtual participation in the open-session of the meetings will be included on the agenda.

There is a technology fee of $50 to virtually attend the Attorney Training on Monday, November 17, 2025.  Advance registration is required as dial-in instructions for this session will be emailed to registrants one week prior to the session’s start.

State employees who are not attorneys are welcome to attend in person the afternoon session (2:45 pm to 5:30 pm) of the attorney training.

Reservations:  The MTC has secured a block of guestrooms at the government per diem rate of $162.00 plus tax. To ensure you get our negotiated rate use the following link MTC – Lowes Hotel Booking Link to book your reservation online, or by dialing  1-866-211-6411 (toll free) or 615-340-5778. and mention the MTC 2025 Fall Committee Meetings. The MTC rate will be available until our cut-off date of Sunday, October 26, 2025, or until our room-block is sold-out—whichever comes first. Reservations after cut-off date will be accepted based on availability at the negotiated group rate. Group rates will be honored (3) days before group arrival and three (3) days after group departure based on group rate and room type availability.

Cancellations: If a guest cancels the reservation later than 72 hours prior to check in day and time, the credit card on file will be charged a cancellation fee of one night’s room and tax. Guests will also be required to pay one night’s room and tax if the Guest departs one or more nights earlier than indicated on the reservation, this early departure fee will be waived if the Guest advises Hotel of the change in departure date at time of check-in.

 


Statement Regarding Public Participation

Generally, meetings of the Commission and its Committees are public. Persons attending public sessions need not identify themselves. However, some of the listed meetings may not be entirely public. Under the Commission’s Public Participation Policy, closed sessions may be held during meetings for matters involving certain personnel issues and the acquisition/disposition of real estate, matters required by law to be confidential, including discussion of certain taxpayer information, and some discussions with counsel over pending litigation.
