Public Hearing – Special Industry Regulation for Broadcasting

On Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM Eastern, the MTC will be conducting a public hearing via Zoom on a proposal to revise the MTC special industry rule for apportioning the income from broadcasting (MTC model Reg. Any member of the public or state revenue agency may provide oral or written comments addressing the proposed revisions to the rule. For those wishing to have their written comments addressed as part of the hearing, we ask that those written comments be provided by Thursday, June 18, 2026. Otherwise, written comments will also be accepted through the date of the hearing. Written comments may be submitted to Lila Disque by e-mail at ldisque@mtc.gov. Please note that written comments will be posted on the MTC website and also will be included in the written report of the Hearing Officer submitted to the Executive Committee.
