Multistate Sales & Use Tax Auditor

The Multistate Tax Commission currently has a position available as a Tax Auditor I who will report to our Chicago office but will not be required to relocate.  This position requires at least 25 % travel.

The minimum qualifications are:

  •  Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree,
  •  This must include 27 semester hours in accounting,
  •  To fulfill the 27 hour requirement, no more than three semester hours in either business law or information technology may be used,
  •  Two years state experience as a sales & use tax auditor,
  •  Excellent oral and written communication skills,
  •  Excellent skills in Excel, and
  •  The ability to work independently.
